POLICE were called to called to break up a mass brawl at Alton's Public Gardens on Friday night.

The fight involved around 40 youths wielding baseball bats, planks of wood and knuckle dusters.

It is thought the fight, which involved a gang from Bordon, may have been arranged on Facebook.
