CLASSIC automobiles, motorbikes and military vehicles took over Tongham Recreation Ground earlier this month, as the Ash Friends of Shooting Star Chase hosted its annual Summer Fair and Classic Vehicle Show.

Visitors browsed through the many craft stalls and charity stands, while the children were kept busy with face painting, games and attractions.

Alongside the array of pre-1990 classic cars, there was a live music stage where visitors sat back and relaxed, while others showed off their latest dance moves, later replenishing themselves at the barbecue and cake stall.

The Ash Friends of Shooting Star Chase is a group of dedicated volunteers raising money for Shooting Star Chase, a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

All money raised from the event will go to Shooting Star Chase.
