LIPHOOK United's family fundraising tournament on Sunday was a resounding success, generating more than £3,000.
Dads pulled on their kits one more time to play in a tournament with the losing teams having to wear pink tutus as a forefit.
United's youth section is seeking to attain FA Charter Standard status in order to continue to improve football at all levels throughout the club, as well as maintaining their eligibility to play in the North East Hampshire Youth League (NEHYL).
As of next season, 2012/2013, the NEHYL will become an FA Charter Standard league, so the club have less than nine months to attain this status and have to ensure that they have at least one FA level one qualified coach for every youth team.
They need at least 10 more coaches to complete the courses and were aiming to raise £2,000 by staging a family fun day.
