THE woman who sadly died following a collision in Haslemere last month has now been formally identified as 75 year-old Carol Smith of Haslemere.

The collision occurred between the junction of Bell Road and the A286 Midhurst Road in Haslemere on February 21.

Paying tribute to Mrs Smith, her family said: “Carol was a much loved grandmother, mother, aunt and sister, and a great friend to many of the residents where she lived.

“She was very involved with her family and her local community.

“Her family are struggling to come to terms with her sudden loss and would like to thank everyone who sent their condolences, flowers and cards.

“She was a much loved member of the family who will be very sorely missed by everyone who knew her.”
