SARAH Rogers from Farnham alongside her two boys braved the shave raising more than £1,700 and counting for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice which cared for her father during his final hours.

Sarah who was accompanied in the challenge by sons Finlay. 8, and Charlie, 6, have raised a total of £1,712 plus £385 gift aid online and are now aiming to reach £2,000 having raised their target for the third time.

Sarah said: “My hair which was four plaits of 14 inches has been donated to Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children with cancer and alopecia.

“A massive thank you to Jodie Shoesmith at The Strand Hair Salon in Godalming and to Anita Parry Photography who has taken our before and after photos to help the fundraising efforts.”
