A GROUP of football supporters have joined forces to galvanise the community to Save Alton Town Football Club from extinction.

They are urging footballers and supporters to demonstrate public support for the club, to drive home the very real threat that Alton could lose its only senior football club.

The demise of ATFC would, they fear, have a huge impact on young people wanting to progress their playing career.
