HAVING enjoyed three successful years as head of Farnham Sixth Form College, Dr Jason Jones will be moving on to take up new opportunities at the end of this academic year.

During his time as principal, Dr Jones made it a priority to build relationships with a wide range of groups, businesses and other organisations within the community, with a view to further enriching the learning experience for students and to putting the college ‘on the map’.

Dr Jones said: “As I come to the end of my time at the college, I would like to say a personal, warm and heart-felt ‘thank you’ to all of the people who have given so freely their time, energy and enthusiasm to support the young people with whom we are privileged to work at Farnham Sixth Form College.

“When I arrived at the college in 2015, I remember commenting that Farnham Sixth Form College was ‘Farnham’s hidden gem’.

“Now, three years later, with the ongoing support of the local community, I’d like to think that the college is nowhere near as well-hidden as it was - and even more gem-like!”
