THERE should always be time for tea and Sunday’s farmers’ market promises to be the perfect place to find it.

The market is held in Central car park off Victoria Road, Farnham, from 10am to 1.30pm.

Tiger Spring Tea will be returning to sell its many varieties of tea, while the Flavoured Shortbread Company, offering handmade shortbread in numerous flavour combinations, will make its first appearance.

Jill Hargreaves, the town council’s lead member for tourism and events, said: “Shoppers can expect excellent, fresh and local produce direct from the producer including meat, fish and dairy produce. There will also be some fabulous fruit and vegetables as lots of our seasonal stallholders are back at this month’s market.”

Other produce available includes bread and cakes, honey, cheese, meat, jam, pickles, preserves, muesli and much more. Many of the products can be sampled before purchase.

The tea tent will be run by the Parkinson’s Society with music from local musician Patrick Webber.
