THE October Farnham farmers’ market, taking place this Sunday, will have all the ingredients for some tasty lunchtime treats.

The Farnham Local Food Initiative will be selling pumpkins, which will be perfect for turning into warming soup or a Hallowe’en lantern.

Jake’s Artisan Foods will be selling hand-cut pork pies and tangy honey and cider vinegar mustard. Gimbletts Cheese will be returning with their soft washed rind cheese from The Surrey Hills and Mrs Hampshire will be selling sourdough crisp breads.

The charity tea tent will be run by the National Federation of Women’s Institutes and live music will be played by guitarist Patrick Webber. The RSPB will also be attending with an information stand.

The market will be held on Sunday between 10am and 1.30pm at Central car park.
