PIERREPONT Farm in Frensham has postponed its annual Festival of Farming as a precaution following two “inconclusive” tests for tuberculosis.

In a post on the farm’s Facebook page, farmers Bev and Mike Clear said: “Due to having a cow test inconclusive twice for TB we have decided to postpone the open day to a later date when all of our restrictions are lifted and the farm is running normally again.”

The festival was set to coincide with Open Farm Sunday on June 11, offering families the chance to come and meet Pierrepont’s cows and calves, as well as a variety of stalls and refreshments.
