Matthew Warner from Dockenfield has a good reason to celebrate. He has just been offered a Youth Trainee Scholarship by FA Cup semi-finalists Wycombe Wanderers.

Fifteen-year-old Matthew has been at the club since he was 11, playing for their boys' teams from U/12s through to U/15s. This season, he has been a member of the U/17 youth team.

The Weydon School pupil has been involved with professional football clubs since the age of seven, joining first West Ham, then Chelsea before moving on to Wycombe.

He has also played local football at Farnham Town Youth FC and played district football with Aldershot & Farnborough Schools, enjoying many successes along the way.

Matthew is celebrating Wycombe's FA Cup exploits. The Division Two club have a dream tie with Liverpool in the semi-finals on April 8.
