At just seven years old, Kian Whitehorn completed the 16-mile route in a record 1hr 33min – having first completed the bike ride as a five-year-old! He did so this year with mum Shirley, and is already setting his sights on the 25-mile route Tindle

Only a beer would do for five-times ride veteran Paul Wilkinson from Basingstoke and four-times vet Chris Galloway from Ash Vale after taking on the 50-mile route Tindle

Mum Louisa Bristow and children Will, 12, and Lara, nine, took on the 16-mile route and will “definitely” be back next year to tackle the 25-mile route. “It was so beautiful all the way round,” said Louisa, “even if there were a few too many hills.” They’re just flats on an angle, remember! Tindle
