IAN Fletcher, the "Tudor Pin Man", has thanked the people of Farnham after receiving £1,000 in donations to help pay off legal costs from his three-year ownership battle with Waverley council.

Speaking from his Blackpool home, Mr Fletcher paid tribute to the people who responded to Farnham man Ted Peacock's appeal idea, which appeared in The Herald two weeks ago.
