Magnet Kitchens is set to open a new store on The Borough in Farnham this June, having agreed to a 10-year lease on a prominent Grade II listed property in the town centre.

The lease for 41–42 The Borough was secured with a private landlord, advised by Curchod & Co. The three-storey, 3,663 sq ft property—previously occupied by fashion retailer White Stuff—is situated in a prime trading location and is one of Farnham’s most recognisable historic buildings. It offers ground and part first-floor retail space, with additional ancillary accommodation across all three floors.

Magnet, a leading British kitchen retailer, operates over 200 locations across the UK and employs more than 2,000 people.

Matthew Munday of Curchod & Co said: “To have secured this new letting to Magnet Kitchens so soon after completing refurbishment works is good news for Farnham.

“The upgrade of this historic building underlines the strong demand from national and regional retailers for high-quality, characterful space in prominent town centre locations. This transaction is further evidence of Farnham’s attractiveness as a retail destination and the resilience of well-located high street assets.”

The property’s proximity to national retailers such as Boots, Clarks, and JoJo Maman Bébé, along with pedestrian access from the nearby Central Car Park, were key factors in Magnet Kitchens' decision to take the unit.
