THE mayor of Farnham David Attfield was invited to make the draw of the summer raffle, which was held at the Chantrys FATN Talking News Studio, as well as present a cheque of £500 to chairman Ann Newson, on behalf of CARE Farnham.

FATN is a charity providing weekly audio recordings of news and information from the Herald newspapers, and other local papers, to around two hundred visually impaired and disabled people living in Surrey and Hampshire. The free service works on a budget of around £8,000 per annum, relying totally on donations and fundraising.
