THE annual St Andrew’s Parish Church fayre returned this year with many stalls, refreshments and a barbecue to raise money for Farnham parish churches.

The main event was the children launching their teddies from the parish tower in parachutes.

Mr Giant helped the children learn circus skills and make animal balloons and there was a full musical programme, storytelling and live portraits.

Weavers and quilters came along to demonstrate their craft.

Even when the rain came along in the afternoon, spirits remained high as stall-holders relocated into the church building.

Reverend David Uffindell, Rector of Farnham said: “It was a privilege and a real joy to offer, for church and community, a very high quality event.

“Everyone played their part and we all had great fun in doing so.”
