FEELINGS were running high at St John's Church in Hale last week as parishioners gathered to discuss proposals for the Coptic Church to use the church on a Sunday.

The parish was approached by the Bishop of Guildford to see whether it would be willing to offer hospitality to the branch of the Orthodox Church.
