THE Fernhurst Centre has closed for the rest of the summer for a major facelift. The centre in Vann Road is set to reopen at the start of October with new furniture, carpeting and lighting and an up to date coffee machine.

The computer area will be more private and villagers will be able to hire the room.

Courses due to start in the autumn include a session for those struggling with the Microsoft upgrade to Windows 10 and a course on using an iPad both on Wednesday, October 5, and a lesson on digital photography on Wednesday, October 12.
