Concern at disappearance of white-tailed eagle as tracker found near PetersfieldOrganisers of the Petersfield Festival of Food and Drink are in advance talks about holding this year's event at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, which lies south of Petersfield just off the A3.
They want to stage the event at the beauty spot on June 15-16, with most of the proceeds going to the Rosemary Foundation.
The annual event is one of the biggest on the Petersfield calendar and attracts tens of thousands of foodies to the town.
But the festival has left a sour taste in the mouths of shopkeepers in recent years because of the resulting loss of passing trade.
