IN A bid to get the community into the festive spirit, Whitehill Town Council has launched a free festive decorating competition.

Prize categories are ‘best dressed business’ and ‘best dressed home’ within Whitehill and Bordon, with only decorations visible from the outside being judged.

Town mayor Catherine Clark said: “I am really excited to view all the wonderfully decorated homes and businesses across Whitehill and Bordon and to see our community showing great festive spirit!”

The deadline for entries is 5pm next Thursday (December 19).

Entries will be shortlisted on the Friday before the final judging takes place on Saturday. Prizes will then be awarded to the winner and runner-up in each category.

*To enter, submit a photograph of your entry with your name, address and contact number by email to [email protected] or by post/hand delivered to the town council offices at the Forest Community Centre.
