THE Friends of Potters Gate School are busy organising yet another fun-packed family Christmas Fair for Sunday, December 3.
There will be plenty of games for the children at pocket money prices from noon to 3pm as well as free activities to keep them busy.
While the kids are occupied, adults can browse the local business stalls for Christmas presents and decorations and see what prizes are up for grabs on the Prize Tree.
Fair favourites, the bottle tombola, raffle and silent auction will all be taking place, and mulled cider, mince pies, hot dogs plus the usual hot drinks, homemade treats, cakes and produce will be waiting too.
“A reliable source has told us that if you are outside the main entrance to Potters Gate School just before midday, you are likely to see Santa arriving on a fire engine and apparently he loves to give out sweets before meeting children in his Grotto,” said Viv Evans of the Friends of Potters Gate.
“The Christmas Fair has truly become one of the community’s most anticipated seasonal events and everyone is welcome. All money raised will be going straight back into the school. Come along, have fun and support a great school.”
