MORE than 30 senior citizens from the parish enjoyed their traditional Christmas lunch and a glass of wine at Liphook's Millennium Centre.
The festive feast was cooked by Angela from Tabletops and served by volunteers.
Santa and his Elf paid a surprise visit and gave each diner a Christmas Card and present and the raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, provided more festive joy.
Robin Young, chairman of Age Concern, Liphook, told The Herald: "Our thanks goes to Sainsbury's for crackers, table cloths, serviettes and prizes, the General Wine Company for the wine, and Bordon Charity, Findlay's Florists and many others for tombola prizes.
"The Christmas event is sponsored by raffles which are held throughout the year and membership fees.
"In addition every member of the Lunch Club receives a birthday cake, with their name in icing, donated by Liphook Bakery, as well as a birthday card."
