PETERSFIELD will be turning on the magic of Christmas in Petersfield next week at the switch-on of the town's lights.

The annual event, which in the past has coincided with Children in Need night, this year takes place a week later on Friday, November 22, between 6pm and 8pm.
It is supported by the Liphook-based children's charity Dreams Come True, which serves the whole of the UK with a mission is to make dreams come true for seriously ill and terminally ill children across the country.
"We look forward to enjoying the magic and sparkle of the evening and to making many more magical dreams come true," said Sue Fowler, head of fundraising and marketing for Dreams Come True.
