THE Hardys, on Bordon High Street, hosted its first Christmas market, with shops getting into the festive spirit and supporting charity.
With stalls, a raffle and £252 raised for Mencap, it was a good-spirited and festive afternoon.
Caroline Crowder, from Crowders Aquatics, arranged the event on December 12 and she said it was such a success that an Easter or a summer market will be held next year.
Her shop also supports Shooting Star Chase children’s hospice, for which her shop generated an extra £66 on the day.
