IT was party hats, cracker jokes and lots of smiles from festive folk who sat down to lunch and entertainment on Christmas Day, courtesy of a caring town group.

The festive treat was hosted by members of Petersfield Area Churches Together at the United Reformed Church, in College Street, and provided a gourmet treat for more than 60 people who may have otherwise had to spend Christmas Day on their own.
