MOTORISTS are advised to steer clear of Farnham Town Centre this Sunday, with Castle Street and The Borough set to close to traffic for a bumper edition of the Farnham Christmas market.

The annual market will return bigger and better than ever before this weekend. More than 200 stalls are set to line the streets of the town centre from 10am to 4pm on Sunday (December 10), along with hot food and drink, carols, Santa’s grotto, a North Pole postbox, a live nativity and more.

Castle Street and, for the first time, The Borough will close to traffic for the duration of festivities, which will also spread to The Bush Hotel and a special farmers’ market in Central car park.

To support the event, Farnham Town Council has produced a ‘Guide to the Market’ in partnership with a local designer, featuring a map of the stalls, stall listings and the running order for the day (see below).

The guide will be given out on the day at the bottom of Castle Street, and a free park and ride service will also be available from Farnham Sixth Form College in Morley Road.
