THE residents of 10 flats in Liphook won't be able to celebrate Christmas in their homes this year after a car crashed into the building destroying the ground-floor flat and causing structural damage to the entire building.

Shirley and Paul Briggs, the couple who live in the flat which was most affected, were lucky to escape uninjured after the car crashed into their bedroom in Moss Court, on Portsmouth Road, in the early hours of November 30.
