PETERSFIELD'S August Bank Holiday Festivities, the last of the town's successful community festivals organised by Petersfield Events, went out with a bang on Sunday.

The August festivities, along with entertainment at the popular food festivals, are now a thing of the past after organisers decided to call it a day, citing difficulties in staging the events because of increasing charges and red tape.
