THE engraving of the name of Royal Marine Richard Hollington on the town's war memorial will form a lasting memorial to the town's hero who was fatally injured in Afghanistan in June, thanks to the money raising efforts of the people of Petersfield.
RM Hollington, 23, from Stroud, was the 300th British serviceman to die in the conflict after he was injured in an explosion while on patrol in the Sangin district of Helmand on June 12.
