ANOTHER film and food night at Liphook’s Millennium Centre proved to be a resounding success, with Bridget Jones’ Baby attracting a large crowd of cinemagoers.
Centre manager Gill Snedden said: “Tickets sold out very quickly for this event. We organised a hot buffet of sausages and mash with gravy, which proved to be very popular during the interval, and for the first time, we put together a seating plan - to make sure friends and groups could stay together.”
Last month’s film night, which coincided with the release of the movie on DVD, generated positive feedback and more events are planned for the future.
Gill added: “We are still looking for volunteers to take part in our monthly cinema events – which are always popular and great fun.”
Tickets can now be purchased by debit/credit card, cash or cheque, at the Centre in Ontario Way or at the parish council office in Midhurst Road. Payment can also be made by phone.
Call the box office on 01428 723889 or the parish council on 01428722988.
