A FORMER Selborne councillor has called on star support in a bid to revive what she considers an historic bridleway on land owned by Headley Park Hotel.

Actor George Mikell, the Lithuanian-born Hollywood star of The Guns of Navarone, The Great Escape, and The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, visited the hotel to get a taste of the dispute first hand.
