A SAFE and cost-effective scheme to help thousands of people across the district climb out of debt and deal with other related fianancial issues is set to get the green light this week.
East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) was being asked at a meeting this week to set aside £100,000 to provide start-up funding for a district branch of Hampshire Credit Union which could be open for business later this year.
