The Arts Society Farnham Evening is holding its next lecture on Wednesday, June 22.

The lecture, entitled Finding Puccini will be given by Richard Wigram, who will look at the life of Puccini, considered by some to be the greatest of all opera composers, as well as the background and the context and content of his major works.

Brief movie clips of several of his operatic works and even his own voice will be included – and mention of his interesting personal life will not be excluded.

For this lecture, doors open at 6.45pm with the lecture starting at 7.30pm.

Guests are most welcome to come to a talk as a visitor for £7 or £5 if you are a member of another Arts’ Society group.

Free parking and a glass of wine are included.
