LIPHOOK in Bloom week is approaching fast.

With it comes the judging of all entries in the competition of residential and commercial gardens as judges inspect the plethora of hanging baskets and containers dotted across the village.

While results will be made available in the parish office, some surprise awards will not be revealed until the team's presentation night in October.

Liphook in Bloom is expecting some innovative entries this year by residents who regularly come up with surprises no matter what Mother Nature throws at them.

Royal Horticultural Society judges will be in the village on July 18 to judge Liphook's entry into South and South East in Bloom, after a two-year break.
