GRAYSHOTT Primary School pupils went on an imaginative safari to ‘Wild Africa’ to get creative inspiration. The highlight of year two’s Wild Africa classroom topic was a trip to Grayshott Pottery to make their own bowls.
Class teacher Katie Could said. “Year two explored the colours and patterns of the African landscape and of the native tribes in their topic.
“Painting, collage work and drawing with chalk pastels were some of the many skills the class developed and practised during an engaging project.
“Having learned about African patterns, they used that knowledge to make and decorate bowls during our visit to Grayshott Pottery.”
