A SPARKLING fireworks fiesta organised by Farnham Round Table on Saturday got off to a exhilarating start with people turning out in hordes for the torchlight procession, marching to the tune of the Reading Scottish Pipe Band. There was music all the way in Farnham Park, too, as the fireworks were released to a fantasia of classical favourites, earning a standing ovation. The display was declared one of the town's best ever while organisers Farnham Round Table reported a bumper evening crowdwise, with an estimated 6,000 attending.
