THE skies above Petersfield were lit up by a spectacular fireworks display last Saturday night.

Set off to atmospheric classical music, the fireworks shone, sparkled and banged under a clear sky at the Bell Hill recreation ground.

Down below, the bonfire erected by the organising Round Table team emitted a warming and welcome orange glow to accompany the colourful pops and fizzes which kept a healthy band of revellers entertained.
