THE FREE fireworks display held by the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company on November 5 raised £534.34 for the Bordon Foodbank and the Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust Youth Hub.

Almost 3,000 people saw the display at Nightflix in the Parade Square at Prince Philip Park, with 2,500 having tickets for the arena and the rest watching nearby.

A spokesperson said: “It was a brilliant and bustling night and an absolute joy to see so many families out having a great time. Thank you to all of you for making the night such a success.

“The Shed was buzzing with energy and enjoyed one of its busiest nights of the year, while a wide variety of pop-ups and stalls made sure no-one in attendance went hungry or thirsty.

“The whole event set a new benchmark for Prince Philip Park celebrations, a standard that will surely be eclipsed once again with next year’s much-anticipated jubilee celebrations.”
