The first ever Haslemere Comedy Festival gets under way on Sunday July 9, curated by local MC and professional comedian Andy Stedman.

Enjoy side splitting humour, satirical quips, amazing comedic timing and razor sharp wit from over 35 charismatic, professional comedians – the majority of them making a pit stop in Haslemere before appearing at the famous Edinburgh Fringe – for £12 for the entire Festival.

Headliners include leading comedians: Mike Gunn, Andrew Ryan, Matt Richardson, Stephen Grant and Jonny Awsum (who recently appeared to great acclaim alongside Ant & Dec on Britain’s Got Talent) – to name just a few of the stand-ups well known on the Comedy Club circuit and various TV and radio shows.

Tickets are strictly for comedy fans over 14 years old, with the exception of the free children’s entertainment event at Dylan’s Ice Cream Parlour on Wey Hill, and are available from Haslemere Hall (01428 642161 or online at www.haslemerehall.co.uk) or from the other venues: Haslewey Community Centre, Dylan’s Ice Cream Parlour, ST Engineering, St Christopher’s Green, The Station House Restaurant and Bar, Headcase Barbers, Haslemere High Street and Haslemere Museum.
