A GROUP that burned a Union Flag on a Petersfield bonfire has been defended by a vicar in his Remembrance Sunday service.

The Reverend Will Hughes claimed in his address to hundreds of veterans, soldiers and residents that the act "wasn't unforgiveable".
He also claimed that members of the Petersfield Round Table had every right to burn the flag despite the battles their forefathers had fought.
