TILFORD Parish Council has urged the Civil Aviation Authority to undertake an independent review into a "flawed" public consultation by TAG Farnborough Airport into proposed airspace changes earlier this year. The parish council called two emergency meetings, in late April and early May, after learning "by chance" and almost too late of the consultation that started in February. Now it is claiming the exercise was in breach of CAA guidelines and is calling for a further round of consultation with stakeholders who are directly impacted. "It should ideally be conducted independently of TAG, well publicised to all affected and easily understood and easily understood by those who have little or no technical understanding," parish council chairman Laurence Trevellyan told the CAA.
