FARNHAM Town Council has taken steps to bring some clarity and more flexibility to the types of memorials it will allow in its cemeteries, after several clashes with the public on the issue.
But there will be no going back on its policy for 'lawned' cemeteries, where the grave space around the memorial is kept turfed and mown without kerbstones or other impediments.
