A FLOOD of complaints has come from Petersfield people who found themselves with bills of up to £800 after mistakes in water billing.

The furore began when bills landed on the mats of a number of Southern Water customers in the town demanding huge sums of money – because they slipped through the net and hadn't been billed for several years.
