FLOODING at Farringdon has led to Christmas misery for 16 families forced to leave their homes as water from underground springs rose to record heights.
The New Downland Housing Association development on the A32 at Farringdon was evacuated on Saturday as homes were engulfed in up to six feet of water and boats had to be used to gain access.
