LIPHOOK Methodist Church held its biennial floral festival themed “Fruit of the Spirit”, raising around £1,000 for WaterAid.
In addition, floral arrangements were on display from regular church groups and other community groups, like the young people Open Mind Group, the Second Sunday Fellowship Group, the Women’s Fellowship, the Wednesday Prayer Group, and the A242 Bible Study Group.
Events co-ordinator Vera Frank-Schultz said: “We had more than 30 stunning floral arrangements and attracted a steady stream of visitors over the two days, who also enjoyed soup lunches and cream teas.
“We are grateful that so many friends have helped to make this festival possible by contributing to the displays and presentations.
“A huge thank you also goes to the stewards and administration team and to Longacre Garden Centre for the discount on the cut flowers.”
