A FOLK music extravaganza takes place at the United Reformed Church, in Beacon Hill, this weeked.

The headline act is Haslemere band The Charcoal Burners and the fundraising concert in aid of church improvements features guest appearances by local singer songwriters and performance poets Audi Masserati, Speech Painter, Radio KWG, Richard Hawtree and Rory Hudson.

The concert is being staged from 7.30pm until 11pm on Saturday, November 26.

Tickets cost £10 in advance from The Hub at the church in Churt Road, Hindhead, or on the door.
