ARCHITECTS behind the Recrafting Farnham community brainstorm will host a follow-up event at Farnham Maltings next week to review ideas for Farnham’s future.
In January, around 700 Farnham residents told a group of 20 local architects operating under the umbrella of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) what Farnham “really needs”.
On the evening of Monday, April 18, the public are invited to come back to the Maltings and find out what the Recrafting Farnham architects discovered.
As further food for thought and background to re-crafting the town, Lily Bernheimer of Space Works Consulting will also present the findings of Tomorrow’s Home; research she has conducted into the housing needs of younger people funded by ADAM Urbanism and Grainger plc.
Everyone is invited to join the resulting debate, to be chaired by architect Robert Adam who also runs ADAM Urbanism.
The follow-up event ‘Recrafting Farnham for you and your children’ is free to attend but places are limited – book by emailing [email protected] or search for the event online at www.eventbrite.co.uk.
