A DINOSAUR landed in Robins Class at St Andrew’s Infant School last week.
As part of their topic, ‘Brilliant Beasts’, a giant footprint appeared in the classroom and the children used their investigative skills to work out how it got there.
The children have also been developing their skills through the use of dinosaurs to measure, compare, discover, create and design. They have been writing their own describing words using illustrations from the well loved book ‘Dinosaur Roar’.
The children have been fortunate enough to look at a selection of real fossils, which gave opportunity for language development.
They have been using the outside area to build their own dinosaurs using recycled materials, as well as practicing their stomping on balancing stilts.
