New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waverley’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cafecita, at 97 Green Lane, Farncombe, Godalming, Surrey was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 20.

And Pitch Side Café, at Farnham Heath End School Playing Field, Monkton Lane, Farnham, Surrey was given a score of two on September 20.

It means that of Waverley's 220 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 155 (70%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
