A FORMER police detective arrested in Haslemere on suspicion of murder wrote online about his life of "suicide, murder, robbery, court and prison", as well as an upbringing by a "gangster" father in crime-stricken Jamaica.

Police were granted more time this week to question Peter Foster, 35, from West Street, Haslemere, after the body of his partner Heather Cooper, 33, was discovered in Blackdown Woods on Sunday.
